Every time I think I've finally bought in completely, two seconds later, Finn is singing to the sonogram on his goddamn laptop. I think they need to give this show a strong push in one direction or the other--either fully embrace the wacky, over-the-top-ness of it all, or get more serious with it. Right now, the show is at constant odds with itself. And while we're at it, howzabout making the show 30 minutes long so it doesn't fold up under its own weight every week? As for the show itself, I'm right there with you. I like all the leads, especially what Scott Wolf's doing in his role. I'm still holding out for greater things to come. I'd really like to see it go off the reservation and do really bold stuff (I can't help but think of BSG and the places it went).
