There is a lot to discuss about the movie and I think what I loved most about it was how Michael Mann took these factual and historical incidents and you saw the humanity in Dillinger in each moment. Dillinger was a ruthless murderer and criminal but he was able to have an intense love for Billie and in his final days seemed to calm down more. Those heartbreaking moments where he witnessed her being captured or the movie theater scenes where he depicts him watching the Clark Gable gangster movie, there was a real sensitivity and humanity that was shown. One where you could read as a fact but Mann was able to go there and show the human drama.

Anyway awesome review and I miss your reviews! :)
