Get LOST with SPJ

OK, time out. Just for a moment.

During our time at Newtype USA and PiQ, it became tradition to spend most of the day after an episode of Lost discussing what we’d seen the night before—so much so that we often annoyed everyone else in the office. So The Onion says Lost fans are about to get even more annoying? Well, they’re absolutely right, but that’s not going to stop us. We’re committed like that.

So for all our fellow Lost fans, you can count on us covering this final season with the same . What’s that? We already talk about TV every week in Remote Uncontrolled? That is true, but for the final season of Lost, we’re going to do something a little different.

We’ll be talking about Lost in a new recurring feature called “Getting LOST”, and we’re going to bring a couple of new voices in the mix, namely our good friends former-NTUSA editor Chris Johnston and well-travelled, fellow TV enthusiast Armando Reyes. Starting with next week’s premiere “LA X”, we’ll be nerding out over Lost and everyone’s welcome to chime in should you choose. In fact, it’s not a choice. IT’S YOUR DESTINY.

  • HA, Nice touch there with it being our destiny hahha. LOST Nerds unite!
  • Tonight is the night. I can't remember being this excited about a TV show.

The only other time this type of tv excitement has come along for me was when The Sopranos was at it's peak and with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. (My All Time Favorite TV Show)

While I have seen every episode of Lost, some more than a few times, and follow the blogs and the mythology in it's other media form, I don't try to dissect the show to the Nth degree like some do on the internet.

It's a fun/cool/smart show that I absolutely love but I don't go all super continuity freak out ballistic on the details. (Like some Comic Book Geeks do to comics -- NOT this Comic Book Geek!)

I just enjoy watching it unfold as it is playing on the screen.

Looking forward to discussing it here. Cheers!
