The new Battlestar Galactica was what we’d consider one of the best TV shows around and even though it’s finished airing on television, Universal announced today the full specs for the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5 as well as a collection of the show’s entire four-season run called Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series.

The DVD versions of both of these sets include 1.78:1 widescreen video and Dolby Digital audio, while the Blu-ray versions make the most of the hi-def format with 2.35:1 video and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. DVD versions will go for an MSRP of $49.98/$279.98 and Blu-ray for $69.98/$349.98. Look for both in stores on July 28.
