The Best TV of 2011

Pawnee’s favorite public servants in Parks and Recreation, the CIA trying to flush out a double-agent in Homeland, the Taylors and their neighbors in Friday Night Lights and the continuing adventures in the oddball Community were our faves in 2011. And still, there’s plenty more on the tube, including Downton Abbey, The Good Wife, Happy Endings, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Beavis and Butthead, Adventure Time and lots more.
The Best Movies of 2011

It was an odd year for film, with a rash of comic book movies and sequels stealing most of the limelight, but several anticipated films managed to offered more substantial viewing. A meditation on the universe in all its glory in The Tree of Life, an exploration of what appearances can really behold in The Skin I Live in, the story of a man who dares to go against the grain in pursuit of success inMoneyball, the incredibly complicated dealings of international espionage in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and a visionary tale of discovery and craft in Hugo took our top nods, as well as nearly two dozen other very honorable mentions.
